The concept of sniffing a salt water solution into the nose of an individual has been around for thousands of years.  The Neti Pots simply improved upon the delivery system.  A segment of the Oprah Winfree show reintroduced the Neti Pot to a huge audience.

During a conversation I had with a physician who was born in India, he described to me that his father would have him sniff a salt water solution out of his cupped hands into his nose to wash out pollens that aggravated his sinusitis and allergy problems.  I asked him if he had mastered the ancient Yogi’s technique of pulsating the solution at the rate his cilia beats in his nose; we both shared a good laugh.

You are probably wondering, what was the benefit of pulsating the salt water solution into the nose?  The Yogi Masters, who are adept at controlling all kinds of bodily functions; such as heart rate and breathing function, knew that the pulsating action combined with the salt water solution did much more than simply inhaling the solution.

To understand why, one must comprehend in simple terms, a unique process that assists your nose in removing debris.  The mucociliary system functions to work synergistically with mucus produced and the cilia lining the inside of your nose.  Cilia are basically hair-like structures that beat rapidly in your nose to transport mucus and the debris that it traps to the back of your throat, into your digestive juices and out of the body through your waste systems.  However, when the cilia lose their mobility to beat back and forth because of the toxic, thick, sticky bio film produced by bacteria or a viral infection, the entire mucociliary system becomes stopped up and loses its effectiveness in transporting mucus.  Just remember how congested you feel when you have a terrible cold or sinus infection.

The Neti Pot enables a user to pour a steady stream of salt water solution into their nose; the bulk of which flows directly over the top of the thick, sticky, infectious, bio film that has transformed the healthy mucus from a substance that works cooperatively with the cilia to one that inhibits the cilia from performing as a transport system.  Think of a production line, if the conveyor belt becomes jammed, product does not move along the assembly line.  Neti Pots vary in cost relative to the construction material; generally plastic, ceramic or stainless steel.

Pulsatile Irrigation delivers a gentle pulsating stream of a buffered saline solution at a rate that gently erodes and removes the bio film that is preventing the cilia in your nose from helping you fight your sinusitis infections and allergy challenges.  A Pulsatile Irrigation system called the Sinupulse Elite costs approximately $97.00 and includes a 30day supply of buffered saline solution.   Respiraid offers the Sinupulse Elite systems.

Bottom line;  if you are tired of continuously taking medicines to treat your symptoms; start supporting your body to help eliminate the sources of  your complications by practicing responsible nasal hygiene.  You may be surprised by your reduction or dependence on over the counter and prescription medications by simply flushing out your nose!

Winter, with its majestic snowscapes, is upon us. We have a couple of months yet before we start to thaw out. Then we’ll be onto spring.

Spring is a wonderful season that celebrates renewed life, fragrance and beauty.  However, millions of people each year seek nasal allergy relief while trying to enjoy hiking, bird watching, boating, baseball, hiking, grilling and the endless list of activities that compliment the moderate temperatures of this spectacular season.

Often, the first remedy that an individual will seek for relief is an over-the-counter antihistamine, decongestant or combination product.  If the symptoms persist and an infection develops; usually a doctor’s visit will be pursued.  Sinusitis treatment by a physician usually involves the prescribing of an antibiotic, nasal steroid and perhaps a prescription allergy medication.

If you are a repeat Allergy Sufferer, you may be growing frustrated by the endless cycle of pursuing a treatment strategy that decreases in effectiveness the longer you use the medications.

Sinus Irrigation is a simple, natural, convenient and effective solution to help relieve and potentially prevent the symptoms from reoccurring.  Pulsatile Irrigation is an advanced form of sinus irrigation that is reported to be 100 times more effective than simple irrigation devices.

The Neti Pot or lavage bottle delivers a large volume of saline solution that may help rinse the nose of allergens.  However, these devices are marginally effective at removing the thick, sticky and infectious material that weighs down the hair-like structures in your nose designed to work harmoniously with mucous to transport pollens, animal dander and molds to the back of your throat to be swallowed and destroyed by your digestive juices.

Pulsatile Irrigation delivers a gentle pulsating stream of a buffered saline solution that is engineered to gently lift and remove the infectious material weighing down the cilia in your nose; restoring the mucociliary function in your nose to work effectively at clearing out debris that triggers an allergic reaction.  A daily commitment of 30-40 seconds will help empower your body’s natural immune system to fend off the runny nose, nasal congestion and sore throats resulting from post nasal drip.

How much time would be more productively utilized and enjoyed each year if you were able to reduce your physician office visits by 50-75%?  How much money would you save each year if your dependence upon over-the-counter and prescription medications, co-payments and deductibles were dramatically reduced or eliminated?

An effective Pulsatile Irrigation device can be purchased for around $97.00.  Respiraid is a company that has helped many allergy and sinusitis sufferers by offering a device supported by a 30 day money back guarantee and a one year manufacturer’s warranty.   For most, this is typically less than the hundreds of dollars allergy sufferers pay for medications, co-payments and deductibles often associated with most rhinitis treatment plans.

Preventative and effective management of nasal allergy symptoms is attainable if you commit to a simple routine that requires less than a minute to irrigate your nose each day during allergy seasons.  If you desire to play an active role in resolving your allergy and sinusitis symptoms; please consider adopting this wonderful technology that is safe and effective.

If you have questions, patients should direct their specific questions to their personal physicians. The information is provided to help patients make better choices concerning their treatment regimens.

There are approximatley 35 million people in the United States that suffer from Chronic Sinusitis.  That is roughly one out of every seven Americans.  Typically, sinusitis is the result of a viral or bacterial infection that began because of poor drainage or ventilation of the sinuses.  Pneumococci, streptococci, Haemophilus influenzae and Moraxella catarrrhalis are the bacteria responsible for causing most sinusitis symptoms.  Chronic Sinusitis is often caused by staphylococci and gram negative bacteria.

Each year millions of Americans take a long list of over the counter medications along with antibiotics, steroids and other prescription medications.  Multiple trips back to most doctors yield the same diagnoses and standard treatment protocol of an antibiotic and any one of a multiple of combinations including an oral steroid, nasal steroid, decongestants, antihistamines, expectorants, cough suppressants, etc.

Do you ever find yourself questioning this endless cycle?  Are you frustrated by the inconvenience of having to return to a physician’s office or other patient caregiver repeatedly to receive temporary or at times, marginal results?

Unless you have an anatomical problem that requires a surgical procedure performed by an ENT Surgeon, you do have another option.  Sinus Irrigation is an effective technique used by many ENT surgeons after surgery to keep the nose free of bacteria.  Many provide lavage bottles to deliver a salt water solution into the nasal cavity to rinse the nose of topical allergens and bacteria that may lead to a sinus infection.

However, there is a more effective form of sinus irrigation called pulsatile irrigation offered by the company Respiraid.  Pulsatile irrigation delivers a gentle pulsating stream of a buffered saline solution into one nostril that flows out the nostril on the other side.  This device not only washes away topical allergens and nasal irritants; its pulsating action actually removes the thick, sticky, infectious bio-film that is preventing the cilia in your sinus passages from working efficiently.  Cilia are microscopic hair-like appendages that work synergistically with mucous to trap allergens, bacteria, viruses and fungus and clear them down the back of your throat.

Here is the bottom line; if you like the results you are getting then keep on doing what you are doing.  If not, it may be time to consider an alternative approach that requires personal responsibility.  Learning to partner with your health care practitioner to preventively treat chronic sinusitis has the potential to yield relief and long lasting results.  After you shave, brush your teeth, pluck your eye brows, paint your nails and comb your hair, please consider practicing good nasal hygiene and flush your nose!

Snoring is estimated to affect approximately 20% of the population.  Unfortunately, spouses are often the collateral damage; having to endure the deafening, bed-quaking rumblings of a loved one challenged by chronic snoring.  Obstructed airflow is ultimately responsible for invoking the resonation of the soft tissue structures lining a person’s throat.  The usual suspects vibrating include the tonsils, uvula and soft palate.  There are also anatomical deformities such as a deviated septum, nasal polyps or excess tissue in the throat that may contribute to the nightly percussion ensemble.

However, for many, the solution may be as simple as addressing sinus symptoms created by sinusitis and/or allergies.  You may be thinking to yourself right about now, “well my husband or wife is already taking antihistamines, decongestants, steroids and other medications and the music keeps on playing!”

    Have you considered Sinus Irrigation

Sinus Irrigation’s technological evolution from Neti Pots and Lavage Bottles makes it more effective and convenient for Chronic Allergy and Sinusitis Sufferers to use daily; resulting in immediate natural relief and control of their sinus symptoms.

    How Does It Work?

Chronic Sinusitis and Nasal Allergy Sufferers often have a dysfunctional mucociliary system.  The mucociliary system is a complex network of mucous and cilia that work together to trap and remove debris out of the nose and to the back of the throat for elimination.  Mucous is to cilia as a spider web is to a spider.  The spider’s web is designed to capture food for the spider inhabiting the silk trap.  If the web collects undesirable debris blown into it by the wind, the insects the spider seeks to capture may easily escape.

Similarly, if the mucous produced by the body becomes infected by the toxins produced by a person’s over-reactive immune system, bacteria or viruses; the thick infectious bio film obstructs the microscopic hair-like cilia from energetically pulsating backward and forward.  When the cilia in the nose shut down, the transfer of mucous to the back of the throat for disposal thorough the digestive tract is compromised.  Visualize what happens when your garbage disposal is broken; typically the only direction the water migrates is up the pipe instead of down the drain.  Likewise, when the nose is congested and stopped up; the tacky infectious mucous has to be manipulated out of the nostrils.  For many, the forced expulsion of this material is attempted by blowing their brains out; often causing retrograde (back flowing) of the infectious mucous into their upper sinus cavities and spreading the infection.

Pulsatile Sinus Irrigation provides a practical solution to restoring the proper functioning of the mucociliary system.  Respiraid offers an inexpensive device that delivers a pulsating buffered salt water solution that removes the bio film and soothes the sinus passages.  Moreover, if the cilia are functioning properly, daily use of the machine during periods of seasonal allergy challenges will help cleanse the nose of the allergens that lead to sinus infections.

Bottom line, if you want to reduce or eliminate snoring, consider flushing out the gunk that is obstructing the normal flow of oxygen through the nose and into the lungs.

Understanding your disease and to how to responsibly care for yourself helps improve your chances of effectively managing or overcoming chronic conditions.  If you have specific questions concerning your disease, always consult with your medical provider.

Allergic Rhinitis is simply the inflammation of the nasal mucosa, the nasal lining inside of your nose.  Allergic Rhinitis is commonly linked to allergies.   Allergic Rhinitis may be seasonal or perennial (lasting year round).  If you are experiencing sinus congestion, sinus headaches, post nasal drip, a runny nose, burning and watering eyes; you are probably allergic to something in the environment in which you work, play, live or sleep.

There is also a non-allergic form of rhinitis that is triggered by fluctuations in the environment or in the biological processes of the body.  Environmental factors may include smoke, temperature and humidity changes, chemical irritants and medications.  Changes in a person’s biological processes such as puberty, pregnancy and their menstrual cycle may trigger the aggravating symptoms of sinus congestion, post nasal drip and a runny nose.

Here are some simple practical strategies to obtain allergies treatment and to better manage your allergy symptoms:

Nasal hygiene is one of the quickest methods to get immediate natural relief.   Sinus Irrigation flushes out the pollens, mold, fungus, pet dander, insect waste, and chemical irritants that are triggering the symptoms inside of your nose.  Pulsatile Irrigation administers a soothing stream of a saline solution into each nostril.  Pulsatile Irrigation not only cleans out the allergens causing your misery; Pulsatile Irrigation also removes static mucous that collects bacterial and viral causing sinusitis pathogens.  Respiraid is a company that offers an affordable Pulsatile Irrigation System.

Seek out the assistance of an Allergist or ENT physician to be skin tested.  Skin testing will help determine which allergens you display the greatest sensitivity too.  Once allergen sensitivity has been determined, you can develop a strategic plan to eliminate or avoid your exposure.  Dust mite sensitivity may involve replacing carpet with hardwood floors or purchasing a dust mite insecticide to kill and control the populations of these microscopic critters defecating all over your carpet.  Pet sensitivity may require the animal being transitioned outdoors or found a new home.  If you are like most people, you are probably unwilling to give up your beloved pets.  The good news is you can commit to receiving immunotherapy injections over a two to four year period to determine if your Allergist or ENT physician can desensitize you to your pets.  If you decide to receive allergy shots, you might as well consult with your physician about attempting to desensitize to as many allergens as possible. It is reported that approximately 70 % of people receiving immunotherapy injections experience a reduction in their symptoms.

Cromolyn Sodium is an effective mast cell stabilizer.  Nasalcrom nasal spray is an over the counter medication that stabilizes the cellular structure of mast cells in your nose.  These tiny cells pack a powerful punch for the allergic rhinitis sufferer.  Mast cells release histamine, one of many biological chemicals responsible for triggering your nasal symptoms.  Nasalcrom could take weeks to begin stabilizing the mast cells.  To maximize the amount of medication that comes into contact with you nasal mucosa, remember to irrigate the nose with a Pulsatile Irrigation System.  Mast cells also release newly formed mediators that attract inflammatory cells to your nose within four to six hours.  Your physician can prescribe a nasal steroid to help diminish this late stage reaction that contributes to your sinus congestion and headaches.

Here is the bottom line, Pulsatile Irrigation can help clear out the gunk in your nose and provide immediate relief to your nasal congestion and sinus headaches naturally.  Seek out a Board Certified Allergist or ENT to discuss skin testing, immunotherapy and practical approaches to avoid allergic triggers of your symptoms.

Always consult the advice of your physician before adopting any approach to treating your medical conditions.  This article is intended to educate and inform sinus sufferers how to seek out qualified medical care and take preventative steps to achieve relief for their condition.

Sinusitis and Allergies negatively impact tens of millions of Americans in the workplace, at home and at leisure.  Each year they suffer the same symptoms because they continue to treat their conditions by blindly following commercials designed to market medications targeting symptom relief for sinus headaches, sinus congestion, post nasal drip and a runny nose.  Eventually the body develops resistance to the pharmacologic effects of these medications, and newer generations of antihistamines, decongestants, expectorants, nasal steroids and antibiotics have to be utilized to obtain some form of relief as the body battles to fight off symptoms and/or infection.

You may be thinking right about now; “what else can I possibly do?”

Below is a simple phrase, direct and comical, that should help you to remember how to begin treating the underlying condition instead of just seeking symptomatic relief:

    Hose Your Nose!

I do not mean spraying a garden hose into each nostril and flushing your nose like a car radiator.  One of the most effective allergy remedies for removing pollens, animal dander, insect waste, molds and chemical irritants is by practicing some form of sinus irrigation.  There are several forms of sinus irrigation that are adopted by individuals fortunate enough to have been made aware that this solution even exists.  I only recently became aware of nasal irrigation a few years ago and I am into my mid forties.  However, not all forms of sinus irrigation provide the same level of effectiveness to relieve sinus sufferers of their symptoms and to restore their noses to top working condition.

    For your consideration:

The neti pot is a plastic, ceramic or metal container that looks very similar to Aladdin’s lamp or a distorted tea kettle.  The neti pot is filled with a salt water solution and the spout is directed into one nostril and poured into the nose.  People often report the awkwardness and messiness resulting from using a neti pot.  It does provide some benefit to rinse the nose of allergens that are in contact with the inner lining of the nose.  However, it is limited in scope to efficiently cleanse the cilia in the nose of gummy, infectious mucous; the bulk of the solution poured into the nose flows directly over the top of the bio film covering the cilia.  If the hair-like cilia in your nose are unable to oscillate freely, the mucous in your nose becomes stagnant and breeding grounds for bacterial and viral infections.

Lavage bottles or sinus rinse bottles hold a salt water solution.  When squeezed a large volume of water is channeled through a spout and forced into a nostril.  Once again, they may be effective at rinsing out allergens; however, the solution typically will flow over the top of the bio film covering the cilia.  Sinus irrigation is most effective when you restore the mucociliary system to transport mucous to the back of the throat.

The good news is that neti pots and lavage bottles have been dramatically improved upon.  Pulsatile Irrigation Systems delivers a soothing stream of a saline solution into your nostrils that provides immediate natural relief.  Pulsatile Irrigation accomplishes two different objectives.  First, it flushes out the reactive allergens adhering to the inside of your nose.  Second, the pulsating action of the saline solution gently erodes way the thick, infectious bio film preventing the mucociliary system from performing the function of ridding the nose of debris.  Respiraid is a company with the mission to help people breathe more freely and distributes a cost effective and convenient to use Pulsatile Irrigation System.

Here is the bottom line; washing out a cut or laceration is common protocol to prevent infection.  Does it not make sense to clean your nose?

The purpose of this article is to inspire people to think more practically about how to treat their underlying sinus conditions.  Medication does play an important role in alleviating symptoms and promoting healing when appropriate.  Consult your medical provider to discern how you may be able to reduce your dependence upon or increase the effectiveness of medications designed to help sufferers of sinusitis and allergies.

Think about it, additional parts of the body are treated with much more reverence and respect. Hands and feet are ceremoniously detailed by manicures and pedicures. Teeth are brushed and polished to precision by agents comparable to the buffing and polishing agents applied to luxury sport cars. Do I dear mention the irrigation techniques developed by the elite to cleanse their bottoms? Yes, our hair is richly conditioned and our lips are well balmed with hydrating moisturizers and your skin is soft and supple. However, beyond an occasional blow into a handkerchief or an exploratory excavation to improve aesthetic appearances and nasal passage comfort; what are you doing to assist this wonderful design to help you?

Fall has arrived; Ragweed allergy symptoms are flying and wreaking havoc among millions of allergy and sinusitis sufferers. To the detriment of the nose, oral medications are ingested with nominal effects of improving nasal congestion. The time has come for a paradigm shift to proclaim demands for a pampered snout. Nasal hygiene is the solution and Pulsatile Irrigation helps you achieve it! Respiraid is a company introducing a system that delivers a gentle pulsating stream of buffered saline solution to wash out unwanted pollens and foreign matter aggravating the gateway to your respiratory pathways. Your nose is the structure that houses the mucociliary system; a transportation system dependent on lubricants and motile hair-like structures called cilia that capture and move unwanted allergens and materials to the back of the nose to be swallowed, spat, sneezed, or coughed out. Avoiding proper maintenance of this important system can result in sinusitis, nasal polyps and asthma exacerbations.

Is your spouse keeping you up at night because of glass-breaking, earth-rumbling symphonies attributed to snoring? Teach your spouse the principles of sinus irrigation and you may be treated to a restful night sleep characteristic of the slumber realized on an expensive space-age foam mattress at a fraction of the cost. Moreover, more harmonious marital relationships are reported to be attributed to a single use of this practical, technological improvement of an early technique mastered by ancient Yogis. Ancient Yogis used to sniff a handful of a salt-water solution and pulsate it in harmony with the beating cilia in their noses to expedite the clearance of gunk aggravating their beloved noses. The good news is, you do not have to spend years in a classroom in meditative contortions working towards a higher level of consciousness to master this technique…Pulsatile Irrigation has arrived!

Yes, if we will only open our minds (And Noses) to recognize that modern medicine can work synergistically with ancient eastern forms of medicine and therapeutic interventions; we all may be surprised at how well we can adapt to pollen, dander, mold and mildew. Below is a list of resources to help you take the giant leap to nasal equality and begin to learn how to care for your humble nose.

Are you keeping your nose clean?  Here is a rhetorical question that many of us have heard repeatedly from authority figures throughout our lifetimes!  Nostalgic memories inspired by patriarchal and matriarchal nurturers of the past illuminate memories of wisdom passed onto this tail end of the Baby Boom legacy.

How many of us really focus on proper maintenance of our noses?  I wish I could report that many people have a level of consciousness about their personal appearance and get a high mark in that area.  Unfortunately, observing the number of people over the years that have nasal hair resembling a briar bush hanging out the portal of their snout; leaves me to wonder how familiar they are with the concept of nasal hygiene.

It has been reported by the Centers of Disease Control that 30.7 million Americans were diagnosed with Sinusitis in 2006.  Allergic Rhinitis, often a precursor to Sinusitis development, was reported in a study titled,” The Economic Burden of Allergic Rhinitis; A Critical Evaluation of the Literature”, to cost an estimated 2-5 billion dollars each year.  That is a lot of money!!  Fresh on many of our minds is the unfolding events immediately following the Federal Governments approval of the 700 Billion Dollar Bailout Plan on Wall Street.  Giving government blank checks to correct a problem they created undermines the ingenuity of individuals removed from this bureaucracy.  So does continuing to blindly follow sound bites to treat your sinus symptoms from television and print ads!

Ask yourself a couple of honest questions, are you intimately involved with the care of yourself and your family or blindly following traditional, convenient, quick fix solutions?  Are current treatment strategies for Allergic Rhinitis and Sinusitis effectively leveraging your hard earned dollars to achieve relief and control?

There are effective solutions that can compliment or reduce your dependence on responsible pharmacologic treatment strategies directed by medical professionals.  Pulsatile Irrigation gently delivers a stream of a salt water solution to cleanse the nose of allergens that lead to over-reactive immune responses resulting in an overproduction of mucous that inhibits the cilia in your nose from clearing it out.  Often, the stagnant thick, sticky bio-film hindering your cilia becomes breeding grounds for viruses and bacteria that take up residence and promote sinusitis and allergies symptoms and complications.  The pulsating stream of salt water solution generated by pulsatile irrigation gently erodes away the bio-film and helps reduce viral and bacterial loads; complimenting the efforts of your body’s infection fighting cells.

Immunotherapy allergies treatment offered by qualified Allergists and ENTs are reported to be a viable option by the medical professionals that are highly trained to administer “allergy shots” to help correct an individual’s over-reactive immune system to the pollens produced by trees, grasses and weeds, molds, insects and animals.

In closing, another old proverbial statement has been  routed to the forefront of my mind by my an aging network of neurons and synapses, “If you like the way things are going, then keep on doing what you are doing; if not consider changing your direction or approach.”

All patients are encouraged to direct their specific questions to their personal physicians. The information is written to help patients better understand and participate in their own medical care.

Reducing Exposure to Environmental Triggers for Sinusitis, Allergies and Asthma is one of the most important steps you can take to personally manage your sinus-related condition.

1.) Pulsatile Sinus Irrigation:  It is virtually impossible to avoid all exposure to the multitude of substances in your daily life that exacerbate your allergy, asthma and sinusitis.  The first and most important step is taking personal responsibility to manage your own symptoms.  Pulsatile Irrigation delivers a gentle pulsating stream of a buffered saline solution that helps not only to remove unwanted substances triggering allergic reactions; it also gently restores the functioning of your cilia by cleaning out the thick mucous biofilm that prevents your cilia from fighting infection.  If your physician has already prescribed a nasal steroid or you are using an Over-The-Counter mast cell stabilizer such as NasalCrom; more medicine will come into contact with nasal mucosa by irrigating first.  This amazing device takes less than a minute to help you experience immediate natural relief and manage your aggravating, sometimes painful symptoms by helping to reduce or prevent future attacks.

2.) Indoor Environmental Management:  Although you are unable to control the transitional elements of spring, summer, fall and winter; you have the ability to manage your exposure to allergenic substances inside your household.  Allergenic Air Filters that screen out microscopic particles (stirred up by normal walking patterns inside your household) may be professionally installed by a trained HVAC Technician as an additional component to your heating and cooling system.

For many, a more practical approach is to purchase disposable air filters designed to filter out pollens, animal dander, insect waste, mold and fungus allergens.  Your local home improvement store often carries a variety of disposable air filters that target the removal of allergenic particles.

Keeping windows closed during peak allergy seasons and vacuuming your household regularly will help reduce your exposure to many of the triggers that aggravate your sinuses.  However, there is one uninvited visitor that thrives in parts of the country where the indoor relative humidity is often greater than 50%.  Dust mites are microscopic, crab-like creatures that invisibly dwell in your carpet, upholstered furniture, drapery, pillows, mattresses and bedding by the billions.

Many individuals are highly allergic to the molted skin and waste products of these uninvited guests feeding off your dead skin cells and their own waste products.  Replacing carpet with hardwood or tile floors, draperies with wood, metal or plastic blinds, upholstered furniture with wood or leather furniture and utilizing mattress and pillow case coverings, creates a less favorable condition for these creatures to cohabitate with you.

3.) Outdoor Environmental Management:  Enjoying outdoor recreational activities and maintenance responsibilities around the yard can be an aggravating experience for many allergy sufferers and dangerous for those managing allergic asthma.  The reproduction cycle of trees, grasses and weeds produce pollens disbursed locally and often widely distributed into your locality by the jet stream.

Rainy seasons often support the growth of mold and fungus.  Grass cutting and shrub trimming release allergens into the air.  An allergy filtration mask may help reduce your exposure and help prevent attacks.  For many, these masks are unattractive, hot and cumbersome to wear.  I learned about a company distributing a nasal filter that I personally tested when cutting my lawn.  This particular brand of nasal filters is very effective and let you breathe without obstruction.  The filters fit into your nose similar to putting an ear noise reduction filter into your ear.  You can learn about this less obtrusive disposable nasal filter: http://www.breathepurenaf.com.  Also, do not forget to irrigate your nose after being outdoors when pollen is widespread!

4.) Seek Qualified Expertise:  If you are unable to manage your symptoms after receiving treatment from a Primary Care Physician; seek out a Board Certified Allergist or Ear Nose and Throat physician to help you.  Most Allergists and ENT physicians will help you evaluate your need for pharmacotherapy and/or surgical options.  Moreover, you may discern you are a candidate for immunotherapy injections; a process that often requires a two- to four-year commitment to help your body become desensitized to many of the substances you body is allergic too.

For many individuals charged with the responsibility of lawn maintenance, cutting the grass can become a frustrating activity when the dust and allergens stirred up begin to cause undesirable sinus symptoms.  Nasal congestion can lead to intense headaches and sinus infections.  Routine practice of sinus irrigation after outdoor activities helps to washout the unwanted materials collected in your nose; assisting your sinuses to function properly and work efficiently.  Pulsatile irrigation is an advanced form of  sinus irrigation that dramatically improves upon the delivery systems offered by the neti pot or lavage bottle.  Additionally, if you are challenged by the development or recurrence of nasal polyps, irrigating the nose with a buffered saline solution helps to wash out the inflammatory secretions that promote the formation of nasal polyps.

Respiraid.com offers a cost-effective, natural solution to help your nose work at peak performance to compliment your rhinitis treatment and sinusitis treatment plans.

We invite you to investigate our website and learn how you can take control of your symptoms backed by a 30 day unconditional money-back guarantee!
